A bird sings a song

I stand outside , and I hear a song

a bird is singing soulful sounds into the breeze

I cannot see , but I can hear a song

she's like cotton wool sending waves of softness , echoing into the breeze

the breezy bird caused a glimmer to stir within

she made me smile

the softness of her sound

the beauty whistling in the breeze

like gentle waves touching the sand beside rocks

maybe she is singing from the roof of a house

wandering at the surface upon which she lands

little feet perching silently

wishing she was on a rock by a beach , singing to the wanderful waters

but she's on a roof singing under a cloud

singing a tune from within

a reflection of her internal feelings of peace , maybe

she sings into the breeze

causing notes to stir

does she realise how musical she sounds ?

she plays music with the sounds stirring from within

needing no helping hand to make a sound

pianos and guitars cannot sing a sound , alone

but she can simply sing her own song

the song of herself

the song of who she is

and so I wander , if she can sing her own song

then we all can sing the sound of ourselves

some will listen

some will like

and some will step away

but all we can do is be true to ourselves

speak our soulful sounds

just like that bird singing in the breeze

An absolute delight Yellowrose - you're right, we should all be like the birds, and our voices their songs.

Inspirational actually - thank you for sharing.
