If Only – 01

If only things were different
in the way that I wished them to be
but things did not go that way
so instead, I had to change everything about me.

I have no regrets
because I have gone through Grief
and I have gone through Truth
as well as Acceptance and Letting Go...so I Could Live.

I want to live in a way that shows Strength
as well as Love and Light;
I know that deep down...I cannot go
without being A Joker...without a piece of Might.

I know that I have changed
but some parts will always remain the same;
The Part That Makes Me...A Joker;
The Part That Deep Down...Lover...Laughter.
