not before, but after.
the ears rise. but not of sound.
half in and half about
about the squaring of the sun;
burns the pheasant tongue
on allotment of earthly claw;
chord of David. Lord of all of this.
sprightly young yarn
as bickers two hands about this and that
and that of something else;
square blood on round sleep
buttered hair on timid scalp
half in and half between;
ash of mustard -seed of something else-
as reels half in
so half about this all;
knee deep and about our age
heat over gristle
thistle of us and them;
half about still half within
as halves about the mind
as halves about the foot;
not about, but after
after the squaring of the sun
after the taming of the corn.
half in and half about
about the choir and the void.
chord of David. Lord of all of this.
ash of mustard
seed of something else;
