Just the sound igniting tidal waves, deep inside
Spring’s refuge syllable, against a life of Winter’s solitude
hollow splinters glued whole, within a vowel
soundtrack letters to impossibility’s demise
word of unassuming innocence, invading
fortified hearts to unmask pulsating paths.
A reinvigorating rainbow breath for affection parched ears
when breezily whispered: by your hallowed lips, my dear.

Interesting words. I especially like “ a reinvigorating rainbow breath “
thank you for your considered comment dear poet, so glad you could connect with this write
A mesmerising octet here, L. B. Mek, your words cascade like a thunderous; yet serene waterfall.
Bravo, and I hope all is well.
what a kind and encouraging comment dear poet, thank you!
Good morning read, L.B.
appreciate your reassuring show of support Jerry, so glad you liked it
soundtrack letters to impossibility’s demise...
very clever indeed.
thank you, that's my favourite part as well, although sadly
'we' is used more and more as a tool for tribal segregation or rather modernity's 'identity politics',
exploited by goal orientated media and reactionary activists for its polarising effect,
a century ago 'we' waged wars as countries, next world war will probably be fought between next door neighbours,
righteous woketivist culture divisiveness consuming us all, street by chaotic street...
(how absurdly dramatic our words can read, until they're belatedly viewed as prophetic) lol
or more likely, that greater good 'we' of togetherness: will once again bail us out by giving us a collective target for all that innate hate, 'we humanity' love to accumulate
Very wonderful words Mek, they drew me into them.
Andy
much appreciated Andy, always humbled by your unfaltering support my friend
Nice images
thank you, glad you could relate or at least connect with my worded vision for the concept that is: 'we'
............. Quite simply super sir .. more than very much enjoyed ............ N
as ever I'm humbled by your kind words of support my friend, thank you
Wonderful imagery L.B. and with such a moving last couplet - a read to read over again hence into my treasured list of favourites.
wow, what a highlight, so appreciated!
just hope my feeble efforts may inspire another
like your poetic brilliance pushes me to aspire - higher
what a gift you wield dear Fay
Wow.... would love to know if you had a beat in your head while writing this or just that silence in a tone that wrote this pure magic!
just going with the flow, as your own words: so often - inspire us to do, dear poet
glad you liked this feeble effort, at scribbling a mellow hum of worded solace..
always appreciate your support my friend!
"we" I like this play on words very much.
thank you, an important word in modernity's reality of polarising divisive tensions, may the 'we' of unity ever prevail over that 'we' of segregating tribalism
