Smiling Lady

Accidental Poet

Somewhere out there

Where the Sun shines down on you

I know you’ll outshine the Sun

Cause when you smile that’s what you do

And I’ve known your smile

Since we were both only ten

With the greatest of ease

You stole my heart back then

But I didn’t mind

Felt like home to me

A hunger satisfied

Full a heart needs to be

I know wherever you are now

Your smile will brighten the world

Just as you did many years ago

The prettiest girl

And today a beautiful woman

Forever my Sharon lovely

Always within my heart

Smiling lady
