Dependency

sonicpoet

Pennies and dollars

Anger by the hour

She loathes to reach out

Always in need.

Where is the work?

She must be employed

She has her  hand out

Her pride be damned.

Can she say she borrowed?

She's always in need

She owes a good lot

Can she even count?

Hanging hear head

Her shame all but clear

Mourning her life

Tasting wet tears.

He pays the bills

Month after month

What she done?

Her heavy eyelids.

Drooping they fall

She has to bounce back

Aging setback

She takes to the woods.

an intriguing read, but sadly devoid of context a little inaccessible and hard to comprehend
