Prince Philip A Tribute

Victoria Nojang

I saw the Queen

Liz twin blue fiery fires

Watched me curiously

Any man thinks himself normal

Till she green-lights you

She engaged my soul

A trapped puzzled laughing Lion

Nuzzled by England's flame

I met Liz

And dreamed of England

Her intricate lines and scores

I'll like to think I evoked

I met Liz

I might seek pardon

For saying l knew her first

I knew her soul like her laces

The Crown never cowers

Philip's pulse breathes

As he eases in heaven's sanctuary

Elizabeth holds England's mantle

As Prince Philip steps out

England pays homage to 99
