If love had just one window
that was open, never closed
My verse would fly like turtle doves
—into your heart bestowed

Looking Back
The past is a foreign homeland,
familiar yet strange
Where memories limits walk the line,
and crossed—exceed our range

The Back Door
Today I went offline,
tiring of the 14 poetry sites I write for
longing for the closeness of a small rented room
missing the darkness when it used to call me friend
questioning if the voices I heard can find me now
wondering—if I still wonder at all

there is a closeness shared between words and eyes, dear poet
you lend me your words
and I'll borrow you my eyes: my friend!
darkness, is merely Nature's pooling
of cornered potential
waiting for other's - to catch-up
and hopefully: actualise...
Prescient as usual LB, thanks.
Kurt
