Just a Person

annonymouswonder

I am not broken

I am not shattered

I am not ripping at the seems

I am a person who is trying

I am someone who is faulted

That doesn’t make me a bad person

Nor a good one,

it makes me human

I’m sorry for sharing my sadness

I’m sorry for expressing my anger

I’m sorry for remaining in silence

I am a person who feels strongly and reacts rashly

I don’t mean to be selfish

I don’t mean to be unkind

I only mean to be myself, whatever that means

Makes me uncomfortable when people apologise for their right to be whatever they want to be (within the bounds of the law of course) because, just as you state, you are human with every right to be all the things u mention.

Being all those things is being an honest person too isn't it?
