Fall Out
… She had personality, passion and purpose
But having dropped yet another stitch …
… She looked up from her shawl and said
Fuck it, now I’m going to drop them all …

Hhmmm - - Intriguing again mon ami - and passionate indeed when dropped stitches bring a complete end to work satisfaction - - a satirically less serious expletive could have saved the first drop I do agree............
the fact that she sat lower was probably a blessing in hindsight ........ ta and muchly too dear Fay ...
Ahh, sounds like someone's having fun there - or about to! Swoon! I knew it would be too much for me. lol
.............. thank you Orchidee am glad I could count on your inadvertent discretion ... swooning comes in handy some times .. particularly when you need a good alibi ...
I DID meet that lass - that was the trouble! lol.
Oh leave her be, will ya - she sounds like a feisty woman who knew her own mind and above all when to cut her losses....
........................................................ that she did .. and always .......... cheers Dave π
Fed up with her station of abstenance she decided to let it roll.
I like the way you tease your readers here.
............... a tease is as good as a rest dont'cha fink DA .. ta my friend and thanks no end ...
Good write, Neville. It never leaves, just rambles around the ghetto of your mind.
....................... ghettyou JR .. and thanks a zillion for re-minding me π
If she were knitting, then dropping a stitch is common, knit and purl, but if sheβs bare underneath the knitted shawl, then it would be purr lol
... my word, you have such a way with words RB but even better than that ... tis good to see you here ..
as ever, quick with the wit and far too deep
when deciphering that cancerous - threat
to humanity's essential requirement, for survival
see, taken as a solitary case - study, this write - be a fun read
but when you consider
an entire generation has now been convinced
they need not pick-out that thread - to begin with
or lift a needle: only - to struggle with
only then do we readers, get a glimpse
at just how far-reaching and true
your words read...
clever and unerringly acute, yet for me: a truly foreboding read
a brilliant shorty, my friend!
would take me a few pages trying to unfurl its layers
and there-in exists the majesty, within our beloved poetry
Just for the record folks .. I wanna hire this guy for my press agent & legal rep ... and let it be known .. on the B side .. I really do appreciate the uplifting comments that this guy just pinned to my page ............................. Neville
