Love #2

rebmasters

I love how you gave me this book & thought it was so

beautiful,

I love how you seek beauty everywhere,

it made me cry

the resonance,

my senses attuned to each one of yours,

flowing into acquiescence.

Flowers pressed against your dark head of hair,

exuberant out in the street,

my fingers tangled up in it.

I love the way I don't want to love you,

yawning chasms of past darkness,

but I still do.

How is it we can elevate one so high with love that we don't want to love them..... i know just what that means. You cover a very complex set of feelings here quite beautifully.

Thank you. I'm trying to navigate those complex feelings with the help of these poems

Yes! He's written a novel too called 'On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous' which is so so beautiful. Give it to someone you love
