Why do I dream most of monsters?
A nightmarish cycle,
perfidious progress,
machines & systems seducing my sleep,
my mind effete; why can't I salaciously dream
of your tangled, dark hair
& honeyed hazel eyes.
Why is sleep a place of darkness?
Circumvented only
when I open my eyes to you.
I've started to dream in poems,
but I can't remember them when I wake.

Keep dreaming! You never know what you could remember next time
“I’ve started to dream in poems,
But I can’t remember them when I wake.”
Sometimes it could be nightmares...
Or fantasies of things I’ve always wanted till date.
