Thank You Mom and Dad

Felicityjones

Thank you mom and dad for all the scars you left me.

Thank you mom and dad for many years of therapy.

Thank you mom and dad for being an emotional crook.

Thank you mom and dad for all of the things you took.

Thank you mom and dad for the pain you inflicted.

Thank you mom and dad for making me panic stricken.

Thank you mom and for showing me what love isn’t.

Thank you mom and dad for all the things you didn’t.

Thank you mom and dad for setting me up to fail.

Thank you mom and dad for the trauma you assailed.

Thank you mom and dad for the damage that can’t be undone.

Thank you both.

Sincerely, your daughter who’s numb.
