WAKE UP THE SPIRIT

mahathi

When legs are tied and hands are busy, don’t
you worry! When your lips are sealed, your eyes
are closed and ears are plugged, oh never moan!
They’re vain by mortal vein…but pleas no lies!

They’re flesh and blood, indeed to focus weak!
Ye wake up fast, the willing spirit…from depths
of mortal cage, untouched by senses bleak,
unused by you so far, in vacuous breadths.

Ye be a blind platonic voyer; learn
to peep through mind hollows, with joy behold
the naked paradise you vied to earn
always, but never could, in mortal world.

You need no ears to hear, no eyes to view…
and now, it’s all in you, with you and you!
