Room

Masking

From a dim lit room,
I see the light outside.
Through a dusty window,
Across a filthy room.
There's a sea of scent,
And a musky haze.
As waves of darkness,
Crash into my thoughts.
Each crack I can find,
Only widens the loss.
But it seems to be fading,
That lovely lovely light.
I see no dusty window,
Just white.
