Jade green

Dakota

Just like that I’m left speechless.

My mouth full of sour grapes, I never peaked at the sweet peaches.

Interesting, I think and think until I’m in an abyss of thought.

I am far behind however no stranger to what pain has brought.

Life is willing to bring me lessons, a good student I am not.

By the time the tests comes I have failed to study tried to cheat and got caught.

But I will try again though I feel defeated.

I been knocked down before I get back up slowly and those who object please remain seated.

Time waits for no man I’m racing against time I’ve lost many times but I will beat it.

But you are pause as I stare into your eyes my jaw drops and I’m in awe.

Your eyes are a calming jade green then again I’m not good with colors.

Whatever the case your eyes hold a beautiful soul much more so than others.

You are a walking portrait a fine piece of artwork.

I know I look stupid when I smile, laugh and smirk.

But it can be helped, I wear who I am on my selves and I lay the cards I was dealt.

I don’t know if I’m religious but there is a higher power some where there’s something more.

Something about you so  compatible what brought you here? I can not be sure.

Heaven ? Hell? I do not belong in either  and yet I have no place on Earth.

But meeting her gave this place a perk.

I am curious and full of temptation.
