Spacesuits

Gary Edward Geraci

Aliens unite us?

Something, some, pace to believe.

What are their designs?

Although, others can’t conceive,

Same still, mark of His purpose.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Through faith and reason the Catholic intelectual tradition presents a cosmology firm enough for the entire cosmos: one God even if multiple worlds and aliens are found to exist. Wow! I wrote this one in a 5-7-5-7-7 Tanka. (Where aliens would be spoken in two syllables: ail-yens).

    Good write Gary.
Ahh, 'aliens' as in 'y'all' way of speaking: ail-yens?
Yep, there's aliens here on earth. It's E.T. But didn't he go home?! lol.
