IT WAS YESTERDAY

shadow424

the season

of memory descended

over me,

releasing pastures,

defying gravity,

as promises became

unwrapped

like the summer

of satin and cotton,

where evening showers

covered stars

named for us

and rain blessed

shifting sands

consuming the days

and horizons of words

within the eyes

of clouds

half covering

a desperate

moon

beautifully worded, relatability is so underappreciated
