Litany For None

satishverma

Can you wash the words?
They have become very dirty. My
encounter with thorns was enlightening.

Do you think your navel
is still connected with your silent
ancestors? Take out your knife to kill time.

I know you were crying
all night. There was no opened door
to find the moon in dark eyes.

Terrific poem. Thank you. I reread it several times exploring its layers.

more bleak, in tone dear Guru
but no less profound in its Poetic brevity
so acutely you've worded, these layers of insight
like Trenz Pruca commented, it needs to be read
a few times, just to identify the signposts
    to its meaningful, worth..
    thanks for sharing
