Words

rebmasters

Say sorry, sweet.
Reeling regret,
desperately downhearted,
will not wander away again.

Say once was too many.
Wild, wilful & wistful,
fallen far at my feet.
Stand strong, sturdy & secure.

Say existence is eternal,
only our eyes engage,
everything else empty,
alive always in us.

Say words I want:
love & lust, longing, lingering.
Surely I am still solely yours?
But you don’t say a word.

    what a wonderful stanza
you imbue so much passion in each line you ink
don't ever lose that trait, dear poet
    it makes anything you write
    simply a joy to read..
thank you! for choosing to share
