Within the Lives We Live

Accidental Poet

Just as a garden grows

So goes a relationship

Elements of trust and respect

In love and friendship

 

I give to you

As you give to me

Investing pride

Giving honestly

 

Earning mutual trust

Grows a shared respect

Sincere and true

Each smile infects

 

Of what we take

And what we give

To and from each other

Within the lives we live
