Echoes from Tomorrow

Accidental Poet

Whispering voices

Imaginary or real?

Visions in my head

Dreams from what I feel

From origins unknown

And destinations not clear

Caught in between

Was I meant to hear?

From my future self

Or an Angel at my side

With an open heart

Listening carefully, I try

Cautions from experience

Advise of the wise

You got my attention

I’m all heart, ears and eyes

The message loud and clear

  Understood and thorough

I labor to decipher

Echoes from tomorrow

  • Fay Slimm.

A finely composed message in these few lines my friend - - certainly needs more than one reading so into my faves with this piece of wisdom.

Fay, you and Teddy have blown me away with your positive compliments today. Not sure I'm worthy of it, but ok I'll take it. Thank you Fay for the read and I'm happy you like my entry today. ; )

Essence of a spritual poetic mind run all through your superb piece today. Begs the question, is our muse actually a guardian angel who's aura resonates with our sensitivity.

      • Accidental Poet

Quite possibly so da. Thanks for the read and comment.

      • orchidee

Could be an angel, yes. I'm quite prepared to believe it.
Erm, it's said 'Young men (and women) will see visons, and old mem (and women) will dream dreams' Which one are ya?
Though 'young' and 'old' can be interchangeable I reckon.
It doesn't mean we've gone nutty. Oops!

        • Accidental Poet

Nutty? Speak for yourself Orchi. Old I might be, and I'm fairly sure I might have been referred to as a fool. But Nutty? Not yet anyway. ; )

          • orchidee

Nope, erm, not inferring you are nutty, nor a fool! 🙂

            • Accidental Poet

              Not yet. ; )

              • orchidee

When might you be nutty then?! lol.

                • Accidental Poet

When the clock strikes 10 nuts to 12 and you sing and swoon for 24 hours. ; )

                  • orchidee

It's me singing has driven you nutty. It's my fault! lol.

                    • Accidental Poet

OK Orchi, if you want that blame, its yours. So now anytime I feel like I'm bouncing off the wall I can blame it on you. ; )

                    • Goldfinch60

May those echoes leads us into a world of wonder and life.
