I Savour You

rebmasters

I savour you.
Precious, delicious, stolen time.
I await you;
delicate morsel of
once in a lifetime fare.
My breath in my throat, a
tingling pleasure,
heart flip-flopping.
Then, so slowly…
serenity settled somewhere
deep down inside.
Comfortable in your gaze,
dreamy desire drifts
out into the open.
Love remiss of rules, restrictions;
free, free.
Something so rare,
a substantial secret;
the origin of all
the world in your wise eyes.
You’ll never be fully gone.
Still, how sweetly I savour you.
