Brimelow

Masks of wood can often
evoke the certainty of buildings of oak
Nails of iron strengthening
turrets criss-crossed and tall
Angled toward our
lashed awnings and towering mornings

Hark for a moment to the withering wind
etching today
aching away
Lean upon your beams of faith
tread and feed on your walls of grace
Happiness is the expression of one’s certainty of place

    A wonderful acrostic here Brimelow.

You paint strong powerful imagery, that is so apt; for the subject matter.

Bravo, and I hope that all is well.

Cheers! I've never posted an acrostic before, and part of this was a dive into the thought "Are acrostics just kid's poetry or something more?" - I'm a teacher and occasionally get my pupils to write an acrostics for "Respect", "Science", "Online Safety", etc. Quite enjoyed writing a fairly adventurous acrostic!
