I Choose My Path...And I Don’t Regret It

Nafis Light

As seen in the screenshot above,
The man said that he has no regrets of his decision
in regards to the path that he chose
and to me...that is a revelation.

A revelation about choosing a life to live;
A revelation about choosing a life to become;
An extremely strong determination about it
and not looking back because that is...’the one’.

There are so many choices
as well as so many paths;
Imaginations...of what things could be
if I had made different decisions to live...to see.

It’s like...I’m not there yet
and I want to
just like that video game character
where every path of living is true.

No life decision is bad or better than the other;
They are just...different
but I kept regretting mine due to past mistakes or
the yearning for something that I might have if this path isn’t taken.

So, I searched deep and looked deep
and there were two reasons why I went on being A Joker
and they are ‘The Joker’ himself and The Virtue of ‘Love’
and so...I don’t regret that decision when I look high above.

I won’t be all purple and green
because I Love The Colour Brown and Black
and that is absolutely fine
because I am my own version of ‘A Joker’...and I WILL SHINE.

    Good words, Joker.

    insightful words, thanks for sharing..
    although, in actuality
    we can only be our true- self
    when we evolve - past
    limitations of society's: caricature, profiles..
    maybe, in time
    you identify with both the joker
    and the clown, or
    the batman
    and jack sparrow, or
    Disney's Hercules
    and Greek mythology's: Heracles...
    either way, what matters is that you know
    whatever you decide, if its Truly: your Truth
    then it can only be right, have no doubt...!
    often, our journey is more worthwhile
    than the goal
    so take it slow, let it come to you
    than straining yourself - searching
    for what may have never, been true
