Faith

Accidental Poet

There was a time

When your dreams could come true

A time when you believed in faith

Knowing it was all waiting for you

Then as the years go by

You wonder who’s waiting on who

Now you’ve learned to feed your faith

To always give the best from you

For how many years can be left?

How much more can you give?

They say what goes around comes around

Giving you reasons to live

And if you find one day

It’s you sitting up on that shelf

You’ve got to take that leap of faith

And start believing in yourself

In the storybook of life

There’s more to the book than the last page

Turn each page with pride and faith

And you’ll live with a smile till old age
