OUR NAMES

OUR NAMES

a prairie start,

shadows over

your eyes,

jealous clouds

silently pass

brushing out

winds and

unanswered

prayers

drifting down

from above

with reflections

of paths missed

and words

of fire that

no rain could

quench

until the years

of tides

floated to

the surface

our names
