Waterfalls On My Pillow

A Boy With Roses

I sink into the day like I am ice cream

Then by nightfall I stare at the stars in the black sky

And I remember all the things I could've been

Standing there in the moonlight

Trying to make things right

I'm trying

Trying to make things right

The light creeps in through every crack

The broken cycle is sunwise

I had to free myself from the burden

But I see the truth linger in your helpless eyes

Drifting with every wind

Savouring every last drop of blood

Moon spilling throughout the cold night

Trying to make things right

I'm trying

Trying to make things right.
