A rainbow lives lovingly in the sky
seven lovely lines side by side in a comfortable calm smile
that just happens to be upside down
colourful and collected
how can she ever be moody in the sky even with a smile that’s in reverse
the colours sing softly in the blue
seven shades standing without a frown or a mournful cry
calling to the blue
calling to the green
living like a joyful smile that just happens to be the reverse shape of a smile in a girl or a boy
maybe the rainbow is a pretty girl smiling sweetly to the grass
living confidently in the blue sea beside her colourful dress
maybe the rainbow is a guy revealing the feminine
yin to yang
maybe the rainbow is beautifully whole
she is dressed as if for a night out
but oh , she is going nowhere
atleast not into the night
for she is a daytime bird but without the wings and the ability to fly
a standing bird , maybe like that of a peacock , proud and brave , beautiful and confident in her own colourful creation
a bird smiling with many colours combined to form a smile
looking curiously to the grass below
and to the blue
seeing the birds beautifully flowing in the breeze
she can only be a daytime bird for so long until she disappears behind the blue
behind the scenes , waiting until she is called again
to show off her feathered peacock wings to the world
and stand in her own colourful creation
we are glad when the rainbow smiles and shows her wings
but we sigh when she leaves
wishing she could make a more frequent return to the blue
we love her
we are in awe of her
why can’t she show her wings to the world , more of the time ?

On a rainy day somewhere people are sad until out she comes to brighten everyones face into the pleasure of a smile.
Not unlike the rainbow we have come to know who calls herself Yellowrose.
Rainbows are lovely , shame they can’t stay in the sky a little longer ,
