The party at the end of the world

Blue Poet

When there's no future and no need to plan for it
When we finally finish the rape of this planet
When we get that ever so needed essential shock
When there's last 24 hours on the existential clock

What will you do
Do you even have a clue
Whether the fact that there is no tommorow
Will ease or increase your sorrow

Will you beg for help of strangers
Or from imaginary god
Can't you see that it was him
Who made us so weak and soft

That is of course if we say
That it really was him who
Set in motion all of this
Fucking shit show

In his eyes i am a sinner
Yet my conscience is pure
And essentially white
Like a colombian blow

Or maybe i am lying
And it's full of holes and black
Like my lungs from looking for the truth
At the bottom of cigarette pack

But remember
There's only one day
And one night left
Have you said everything you thought necessary to be said

And if not
Would it even matter
When everything is ending
One way or the other

And who would even care
About your empty chatter
When there's no time to spare
No need to flatter

And if you were one of those people
Who's only prophet
Is their finacial gain
Their profit

Then i ask you
What will you do with these now useless pieces of paper
To you it might be sad but to me it is really funny
That there is nothing you can buy for your money

And as for me
And the state of mind that i am in
At the end of the world
The only sensible thing to do is heroin

Without consequences
With everything ending soon
There's no reason why i shouldn't go out
With a boom

The golden brown destroyer of worlds
Without a single world to destroy
At the end of time forbidan fruit turns to harmless toy
It's plain as that when there's no aftermath

And the only thing i would hope for
Is someone with whom i could share the needl
Because if the world was made for two
Then his end is surly too

I'd sit at peace and smile,
knowing that the world will be alright
This virus this plague will be finally cured
The true Nature of humanity finalky restored
And those that are left, the lucky few
Will find Eden reborn, alive and new

        Whatever will be
        is beyond you and me
and if those questions which arise
        place tears in your eyes
theres a finer place ones mind could be
let it be, let it be, let it be

I found this piece funnier than I figured the end of the world would be. I love it.

          Happy to hear that 🙂
