Thin Air

Mister V

6/19/21

I opened wide my mouth exhaling deep

as great relief spread well across my being

but quickly as it came erased in speeds

of dashing flight like birds with full-grown wings

at once I'd lost my dear tranquility

and suddenly felt lungs in use no more

my oxygen availabilty

depleted just as prints along the shore

no gasp could help me sad as it occured

could not reach towards mercy and despaired

how else react lest sadly well-deserved

alternatives had never been as scarce

this is how I feel in a world so closed

that refines you to the caliber's scope
