Prismatic Cry

Kurt Philip Behm

Voices have a color

like anger or happiness,

shouting from the rainbow

in palettes of sound

Voices have a color

like red, blue, or green,

painting the silence

—in brushstrokes of fire

(Dreamsleep: June, 2021)

Butterfly Wings

Yesterday inside my head

—tomorrow in my heart

(Dreamsleep: June, 2021)

Burnt Free

Embers of the past…

fire inside my memory,

cinders of time

—ashes in the wind

(The New Room: June, 2021)

Very nice! I especially like first one, very good imagery there. If I could see voices, it would probably look something like that.

    Kurt,

Your poetry never ceases to amaze me. As I read the penned words in silent wonderment, the images created in my mind are astounding.

as ever, I read and learn
from your poetry's: majestically phantasmagoric brilliance!
