A Caterpillar Rainbow

aDarkerMind

a caterpillar rainbow

with its' bluebell tongue tracing the movements of my straw

its' shoulders raw with the weight of a plaintiffs' cross

pedalling its' medieval eyes into the whiskers of a summer solstace rain;

an anvil dressed

and blessed with the claw of a merciless landfall of sudden release

exposes its' expectant brothers lapse into a less appealing pose

as a social outcast treads the boards on a more attractive march;

mixed up, bleeding and high on believing

on the spirit of a more subtle approach

when once below, now above the realms of a more positive component;

cockroach spears

deep within the ears of a poachers trap between the eyeballs of endangered trust

where jousts a cardinals christmas tree with a satanic easter egg;

caught between jerusalem and the north circular divide

how many more I wonder

will applaud the less appealing as a princess dips her toes into the gravy of her non-existent foes?;

alive and well and living on the hand stitched leathers bible bashing belt

on an oyster truffles sacrificial slaughter of inept

as the suspect pleads insanity caused by her never ending drone of nothing new!

my catarpillar rainbow

with his tweleve string and his doombar

quenching my thirst with a catfish for my blues;

never easily offended

never easily confused

just a sad old sod with a fishing rod

and ever so slightly amused:
