The red light
In the lower left
Corner of the TV
Stays on
To show me
The power is on
While I watch TV

Reassuring it is not LOL. I was trying to think of something compareably ridiculous but couldnt.
The little light on my TV is blue.

    • Jerry Reynolds

      Thanks, Dusk.
The next time you are watching TV you will think of me.

Oh lol, we have to turn the red light OFF for the power to come on!
If all else fails, switch the plug on!

      • Jerry Reynolds

        Thanks, Orchi.
I asked Ciri if she was listening? Nothing at first, then a very low He, He, He.

        Lol. Ain't that the truth

            (What can I say Jerry
            you've inspired another rant/scribble
            out of me today,
how incisively worded your Poetry: Roars
            in my mind, thank you)..
People need to stop reading George Orwell
he was working: 'for Them', to begin with
            and more importantly
while they're busy watching and plotting
            remember: we're doing the 'Living'!
and in a blink, 'They' and 'We'
will arrive at that benchmark, 60'th cake
and 'we're all' left thinking, the same
            'who Fck'n cares: anyway!
the best laid plans of mice and men
are there for us to excavate
in those Great Empires: of Sand...'
In the words of that great sage and poetess
            Sylvia Plath: from 'Ennui'
'Tea leaves thwart those who court catastrophe,
designing futures where nothing will occur:
cross the gypsy’s palm and yawning she
will still predict no perils left to conquer.
Jeopardy is jejune now: naïve knight
finds ogres out-of-date and dragons unheard
            of, while blasé princesses indict
tilts at terror as downright absurd.'
(so then let's boil some water
and sip our way, through the next batch
            of inhumane horror
they'll be trying to introduce into our lives
            one way or another)

          • Jerry Reynolds

            Thanks, L.B.
I am so jealous, cannot get that many words out of one thought.
