L. B. Mek

A presentism legacy, of Artistry

records our assumed, facts

that novels

embellish with their fiction,

dances between our pulsating, boundaries

giving platform

to a generation’s volition,

paintings and sculptures

encapsulate our wondrous, achievements

and failures

with their innate imagination's, mirroring canvas of wonder's;

but nothing - frames

those subtle – monumental, transcendentally

eruptions of our quintessential, emotions

like a few acutely woven words, inked

with that inspiringly – penetrative, ingenuity

sprouting, from a Poet’s

presentiment-vulnerability: of visionary veracity…

    just gorgeous L.B
you do raise a thought once i went to an island called levanzo in sicilly we went to visit a cave and it had ancient drawings of people and mamoths but i couldn't help but think if it was really real? or sis someone created very cleverly to claim many tourists who pay to see it? i am some what sceptical sometimes, my family always laugh at me but i don't know.

    • L. B. Mek

I too, swim in those sceptical sea's
it helps to balance out my imagination's
      somewhat self-centred, tendencies
      I feel.. lol
thank you, I was worried this would read too 'wordy'
so your 'gorgeous' has made my day - already, 😌

"dances between our pulsating, boundaries" what a line that is LB.
Life be it visual or emotional,is a "merry dance" we all do,be it music, painting, poetry.I have read or looked at "something" which is either amazing,or had me scratching my head.

      • L. B. Mek

'at "something" which is either amazing,
or had me scratching my head.'
kinda fun, when something tugs at us
on a level we can't quite, ascertain
        yet, can be certain
of its meaningful importance, and so
        we simply contemplate and ponder
        thereby unknowingly entering, poetry's
most sacred quality: of intuitive mysticism..
thank you for your insightful comment, dear Poet
so glad you enjoyed the read

          • L. B. Mek

maybe I kinda tipped the scales
in our 'Poetically licensed' - favour, me thinks
but hey, we scribblers gota stick together! lol
            thank you: as ever
for your generous comment my friend

... and the poet went forth to spread the word. Steeped in honesty. Joe

            • Goldfinch60

Wonderful words Mek and so very true. Words can bring all emotions to us all. In my case music can do this as well.

              • L. B. Mek

yes, I was definitely - most ashamedly
playing favourites, in this write Andy..

                  always appreciated, my friend

                • SureshG

A license for sure, whether poetic or literary, but that’s what gives our imagination the freedom to exploit, but one has to have the gift as yours to pen an amazing piece.

                  • L. B. Mek

or the visionary insight of a poet, like you
to take mere scribbled words and view them
for their more meaningful - potential...
thank you for such an encouraging and illuminating comment
                    how very kind, sincerely
