Pleasant to me Tom was, but a
Man of many a question.
Not suited me thinks for a board
With many a suspect tenant.
Liz Beth she coos, Tom unfettered,
Found a position he liked
And tendered the mister notice.
With nods and winks, we all agreed
When it comes to the misters’ matters
The less you know, surely is, the better.
Evoking much this simple card
Offered by a man from Scotland Yard.

      Sorry about that It's continued from yesterday. I am writing a short story, in parts, using the murder of Thomas Arden in 1551 as background material.
