playground

dusk arising

Up beyond the tailored sky
in a place called once upon a time
you and me are but puffs of smoke
way, way up above the clouds
in the playground of my mind
where coincidence is the tide
and seashell necklace frekkles
tickle fish feet tip-toe splashes
kissing lips with sunburned smiles

I am a sucker for short, sweet, mysterious, whimsical, wistful, and elegant. You hit it all without being trite at all.
