Your love was real
And our bond was tough as steel
Your eyes and smile could always heal
The feelings you gave me were ideal
Without a doubt, you made me as happy as a clapping seal
My soul seeks out for you, it's so surreal
You were so indulgent and made the best meals
I was there for you, night and day, but it was no big deal
The dopamine I felt with every laugh was like a kid on a ferris wheel
Thinking of you always puts me in my feels
The smell of you is still in the air like an orange peel
I love thinking of you when I'm alone driving behind the wheel
My best friend, my rock, I cannot accept this great ordeal
Although you're gone, your love stayed within me forever concealed
I love you and I miss you and to god, I pray to see you in my dreams each night I kneel.
