Your Smile Makes Everything Worthwhile

JWKP98

It’s not enough for you to just survive

I’ll do anything to see you thrive

Of me, nothing anything I do for you can deprive

Because the more you live, the more I feel alive

To see you on top is my drive

The sun will go black, the sky will fall, and as Earth ends, I’ll do anything even then to, peace, give you

You command my strength, my love, my protection, my affection, my dedication, my focus, who it always will unwaveringly go to

I wish you’d see yourself through my eyes, as I do

Would it make you happier if you knew

To make you smile more, the things I would with a grin go through?

You say you love me, and it makes my world go ‘round

It gets me so high the only thing that brings me back to the ground

Is when not everything in your life is sound

And then, every time my heart makes a pound,

It’s dedicated to taking you back up on the rebound

Hell has nothing I will not confront and defeat

To make your life more complete

This is the only place I stand where there is no option to retreat

My need to ensure you are taken care of is something nothing with can compete

With you in my life, my heart is whole, with you having a smile, my joy is concrete
