Oh to be Tranquil

flyingfish

Oh it's so hard to be tranquil.
But I'm doing the least that I can
to harvest passionate experiences
in the cargo-cult van.
To divest of stress and worry.
To divest of uncertainty and dependency.
To opt instead for calmness and tranquillity,
in a state of untroubled stable ataraxia.
Neither denying nor affirming anything in
shadows that cross my path, beyond my control.
I’ve got my stuff together, with my life
back in balance, stable,
serene and harmonious.

'Neither denying nor affirming anything in

I’ve got my stuff together, with my life

(what more is there, to wish for!
    I have said it before, in a reply to Kurt before;
if Stoic's and those with Epicurean mindset's
    had merged and fine tuned
their ideologies: than opposed and belittled
    each others merit of worth
we could have long - retired
that social philosophy of day to day, survival
    and made some headway
into unfurling those real, quintessential mysteries
at our nucleus of all-things: metaphysical
to this experiment of symbiotic existence
    we've titled: life...)
a great read, of a socio philosophical dipped
poetic treat, thank you dear poet
