The Cobra's Flute (+1)

Kurt Philip Behm

Be careful when

the Siren calls

because…

Where you fall in love

is where you’ll stay

Headlights Dear

Too far from the mojo

—too close to the fire

    Kurt,

I wonder what happened to my comment?

Very strange! Perhaps I lost my ‘mojo’.

Thank you my dear poet. 🤗

      for all-things, blossoming - out
      from that foolishly drunken heart
we keep chained, far - far away
      from alcohols, romantic overtones...
      'Too far from the mojo
      —too close to the fire'..

is supposed to - read, like
in its repurposed, poetic - phoenix
