The first words ever spoken,
Then turned to a song.
The only ours lyrics,
Are they really gone?
The God that we pray to
With our worshipping words.
The mental act of belief,
Has it been withdrawn?
The intimate knowledge
Only your people share.
The words, the actions,
No one else understands.
And the arts, the customs
Known to you so well.
Are they also lost forever?
Is there nothing left to dwell?
All those battles that were fought,
The history you made,
Through hundreads of years
They are all still safe.
A completed flow of past?
What an absurd, if you ask.
Since you’re still here standing
And so, does the culture last.
Can’t you see? As we move on
So does the world,
But we carry our cultural baggage
Through its unwieldy hurl.
This is nothing new to us,
We’re the wanderers of our Globe.
Never in one place forever,
Always searching, wanting more.
Now, when we can finally have it,
We complain about our doom,
And we blame the outside world
For our actions, I assume.
So, as you move towards tomorrow,
Wondering if you’re still yourself,
Leave somewhere behind your sorrow
For others were here as well.
Things don't stay the same forever,
Change becomes a part of them
But in our world of advance
Our things will be ours still
You, a lost soul of the earth,
Came here just in time to see
How the world of ours changes,
Just like all things supposed to be.
So, don't bother fighting the wave
All your bloodshed will be waste.
Let the world do its job
You just stand here, feel its taste.
Yet, just promise me one thing:
That no matter where it leads
Keep in mind some piece of past
The old-timers and their deeds.
