The Darker Side Of Camelot

Kurt Philip Behm

Reigning in his own demise,

the alcoholic stumbles

Falling from the ramparts high,

hard upon the ground

A monarchy of lost regret,

in anger’s shame he crumbles

Trapped inside a broken dream

—heartache’s thorny crown

    'A monarchy of lost regret,

    Trapped inside a broken dream'..
yeah, I too agree - that
    supposedly heroic tale, (whichever version)
has a lot of egotistically - warped
bad decision making, staining its plot
and its portrayal of love, from
    all three key characters
    reaks: of selfishness and greed...
(a wonderful read, thanks for sharing Kurt)
