Weeping willow

deep_carrot

Willow I’ve been weeping
A constant beauty
I’m scared to go without
Maybe weeping Willow’s death
Will save Willow from drought

Your departure
Illudes me
Hurts so much
I can hardly stand to see you
So what am I suppose to do

I’m sorry
When I took
You for granted
Selfless, empathetically deep
My cry echoed with Willow’s weep

Calm as ever
Seems soothing
It’s quite moving
You act with radiant acceptance
Remarkable self transcendence

  • Comment from author about the poem: This was inspired from a close family member that had died. It was predominantly inspired from a time as a kid I had been crying, once he saw me and without any explanation he started crying too.
