Running from the Rain

kzsparadise

Have you ever watched the light inside a person fade?

The darkness has been there as long as I can remember, but I’ve always found ways to feed the flames and keep the light from dimming into complete nothingness.

I can’t shelter my light from the rain any longer.

I watch each drop, each day, each tear, drown away what’s left of my hope.

Hope for a feeling other than misery and sorrow.

Emptiness.

Hate.

How do I protect my light?
