Holding back tears

 hold back these tears as I fight through this storm
The storm of emotions that hides n my mind
Only I can hear the screams as it forms
The stars up above have never been so aligned
Why has my mind feel like it’s declined 

Angels hear my cries 
Through the storm carries through 
The dark clouds that won’t pass by
I hold back these tears and try not to feel so blue
Angels take this pain and say goodbye 
These feelings I may subdue

The storm is stronger now can’t you see
All this pain is inside of me

Screaming to escape this agony
Like a knife stabbing in your back

It’s time to go to see the shining star

Since the storm is finally gone 
Emotions all clear and that’s a fact
The shining star has me drawn 
Float me high above take me intact
To the skies that are so clear
As now I am withdrawn
