It comes in many types of forms
At many a different speed
It comes at the best of times
And the worst of times indeed
One minute you're king of them all
The next you're on your knees
One day you sit pondering glutinous futures
The next Swings by disease
Though it matters not
The severity of your pain
But how severely your actions
Bring about a change
For the strong know how to manifest
Their screams into their dreams
While the weak welcome bitterness
And get by on happy memories
The mighty are wrongly idolised
Painted as muscular and devine
For the mighty do not seek vanity
When each last breathe becomes a fight
The brave are not leading at the line
But kissing goodbye their lost child
And the bold will not be victorious
As they begin again in life
For it matters not anymore
During your time on the earth
The rising number of your floor
Or how heavy hangs your purse
What matters most is to explore
As you lay face down in the dirt
Battered, bloody, bruised and beaten
Ripped jeans, torn up shirt
Broken hearted and dreams forgotten
One more lesson left to learn
It matters not how did you live your life
But how did you use your hurt?

I love this one Ed. Great attitude and totally relatable
'Though it matters not
The severity of your pain
But how severely your actions
Bring about a change
For the strong know how to manifest
Their screams into their dreams
While the weak welcome bitterness
And get by on happy memories'
'It matters not how did you live your life
But how did you use your hurt?'..
Insightful words
and a meaningfully positive message
