I’m Sorry

Regret

I’m sorry for losing myself and you had to reap the consequences. 

I’m sorry for letting past pain cause you pain. 

I’m sorry for draining your cup instead of filling it. 

I’m sorry for thinking you needed saving when in reality I am the one who needed saving. 

I’m sorry for not being the friend you deserved. 

I’m sorry for the words I wrote as even though they were in pain and not malice but you deserved better. 

I’m not sure what the future holds but I hope that one day we can find each other again and maybe I can be the person you truly deserve. 

I’m sorry.
