Women

RosaUribe

Women I am,
As women have to uphold many images,

We can't be too skinny nor too fat,

We can't wear too much makeup or we are as they call "Catfish",

We can't wear clothing wear we show the bare minimum of skin or we are as they call "sluts",

We can't walk the streets with calm for which we get sexually assaulted,

It came to a point where clothing matters, to see if we asked for it,

Women put up with so much,

We do so much just to please everyone.

One flaw and you're already revolting.

Being a woman is frightening.

    maybe start
    by takin-out that chauvinistic 'men'
in your worded identification of Self
    and exist: purely as
    the Lady
    the Grecian Gynaika
    or, as that enduring Girl
    you always wanted/deserved to be..
    free yourself, of Societies 'Titles'
    then find yourself
    and blossom, into the 'Who'
    you've always been
    and always, will be...!

Not really the person to tell you, but...
Have the courage to drive yourself, and not be guided by other's expectations.
