A Poetic Inducement

Accidental Poet

My thoughts seem

To follow a certain trend

I have to wonder if inherited

Or of my Muse’s whim

For so often

I think in poetic rhymes

Frequently a message there

Layered between the lines

Eternally thankful

Of this I am to thee

Who bestowed this poetic gift

This glorious gift to me

For the gift of poetry

My personal amusement

Hidden there within

A poetic inducement
